The British Association for Music Therapy (BAMT) is the professional body for music therapists and a source of information, support and involvement for the general public.
Music therapy is an established clinical discipline which is widely used to help people whose lives have been affected by injury, illness or disability.
The Assessment and Advice Team undertakes initial assessments for people who may be experiencing mental health problems to determine the most appropriate services for the client. The team also provides information, advice, educational support and consultation to practitioners and agencies on the management of mental illness.
A neighbourhood based youth project offering music, art and sport based leisure activities for children and young people aged 7 to 21 years, with an emphasis on developing young people’s skill and potential. We offer a youth club, football sessions, and a wide range of one-off events and courses.
A drug and alcohol treatment service working with residents of Islington who have reduced or stabilised their substance misuse. Cranstoun will provide a safe and secure environment in which the service will support people towards abstinence from drugs and alcohol.

First point of contact to access adult mental health services
Offers a range of activities and opportunities for education, training and trips. There is a large indoor sports facility, football and boxing coaching, IT facilities and a cafe. During school holidays site trips and residential and other activities are offered. These include, paint balling, ice-skating, cinema, eating out, camping and team building.
Women's counselling centre (formerly Islington Women's Counselling Centre), offering free counselling, therapeutic groups and a culturally sensitive service to women who are in mental or emotional distress.
Complementary therapies and counselling service. A community-based programme that works with people who are experiencing mental health problems, in particular, long-term anxiety, depression and stress-related problems. Some services require a referral and some are open access.
